The first thing that really stood out to me about the Prophet T100 wasn’t the machine at all. It was the UV sterilization case that the machine came in. This is a hard case with a USB-C connection that sterilizes the machine in about 5-6 minutes. The best part is that most pen style machines fit inside the case. I have been sterilizing all of my pen style machines since the AI Tenitas arrived.
The AI Tenitas Prophet can replace most pen style machines. The E-Mode allows digital “give” that mimics the mechanical give from other manufacturers like the Scorpion from Ink Machines.
The F-Mode is more of a direct drive and is great for black and gray. It reminds me of machines like the Bishop Wand Shader or the original Cheyenne Pen.
If, however, you are looking for a punchy, coil type liner, this machine might fall a little short.
While it is perfectly capable of lining, I found that I needed to bury the needle a little deeper in the skin and work more off the tip of the tube.
My preference for punchy rotary liners that most closely replicate the feel of a coil machine are still the Sidewinder by Dan Kubin or the Neuma 4 from Carson Hill
If you are looking for an affordable pen style machine that does a lot of things well, I would not hesitate to recommend the Prophet T100 from AI Tenitas. At the very least, head over and pick up the UV sterilization case which will work with most pen style machines.
